  • Securing items in coach while driving.

What do you do to secure decorative items in coach while driving?

I see coaches with lamps on tables and other interior furnishing sitting on flat surfaces.

Interested in how you keep them in place especially when the non observant person pulls out in front of you requiring a hard braking event.

Museum gel/putty. Putty works better in heat then gel, gel tends to run/thin out when it gets warm.

Jar notes “for securing glass and crystal” it works well on other items too.

We simply by a roll of butyl tape. It’s used to seal vents and other appliances on the roof of the rv. It will hold the heaviest of decorations from moving around. When you want it off, the residue is easy to get off. Its available at rv supply stores and also Amazon

We use “earthquake puffy” and industrial strength Velcro
