Seal after flush
I just noticed that after a flush the seal is not closing. Normally after a flush the seal comes right out without an issue. Any recommendations on how to get this to close?

What’s the make/model of your toilet?
It’s closing, but not sealing, correct? Have you tried plumbing sealant? It could also simply need a new gasket, another easy fix.

I have the 12v Microphor. Replaced seal for $8 last year. No issues since then.

Not sure if the brand. It closed last night after flushing twice. Since then, it does not come out to seal the hole. Looks like a circular disc that comes out at the end the flush and traps a little water into the bowl.

Looks to be a Thetford Aria classic or Aria Deluxe II.

If it’s an electric 12v Microphor 220, your problem is the Flapper. You should be able to see the flapper in the open position, I don’t see it in the picture.

I’ve got an electric model myself and check to see if you’ve got 12 volt power. I’ve got a 12 volt panel in mine marked toilet. Also a toggle inside under porcelain back cover if microphor. More than likely electric problem if working before.

Thanks for the response and advice. As we were going through our preparations to leave this morning, Tammie noticed that someone had turned off the pump. Turned on the pump and success. Sometimes it is the simplest of things.
