Charles,
This has come up many times over the years and no one has come up with a really good option that I’m aware of. Someone tried using those screens with magnets that hold the two sides together that just hang from the top of the door.
If you come up with one, you may be able to retire early.:)

tom, thanks for the pointer. thats what i thought i saw some time ago, but didnt save the link. will keep looking or see about making our own.
al and jon, AC is great, but the temps are perfect for being outdoors. and keeping the windows open allows the coach to be aired out. having a screen door would mean not needing to open and close the door everytime one wants to get a fresh beverage.

I DO open my windows, but it sounds like you may have to settle for an outside fridge.

I suspect the screen door solution will have to come from the converter or Prevost. Either a screen door inside the existing door, or something that slides or rolls out from one of door jams.

I am with Al & Jon…we NEVER open our windows either. Don’t want the dust or noise from outside.

When the weather is nice, we ALWAYS have our windows open. As we do right now. All 5 of them as well as 2 roof vents. As long as the wind does not blow hard, we even keep the door wide open. We rather clean the dust away a little more often than being cooped-up in a tin can breathing in an artificial climate. Our temps are in the 70’s and we have not run the AC for the past several days!

ron, what you described is exactly what we are doing. i end up sitting outside most of the day working and having meetings, but going in and out is just wear and tear on tue door. a nice screen door would be great. or just a screen curtain would work as well.

Both myself and Hisch Amral tried those magnetic screens and neither could get them to fit. save your money.
