    Scaroon Manor State Park

    we have stayed at the Lake George RV Park in the Adirondacs several times. Nice place, but crowded and expensive. We went exploring last trip and found a 3 year old park on Schroom Lake. Used to be a golf resort frequented by big celebrities and politicians. Also the set of a Hollywood movie.

    It is dry camoving and every site on the main loop it big rig friendly. The facilities are awesome and staff super friendly. Only downsides are bugs (everywhere in the area) and the path of the sun is over the lake and in your face all day.

    We will absolutely stay here again. We literally only had one other rig there the whole week. The park is not well known yet.
