    Per,

Your sat dish is probably mounted in the cap step-down either in front or rear, making the height a non issue. Mounting a dish on top of the roof may put the height close to the 13’6″ limit depending on Converter. I’m at 12’10” with the sat dish mounted in the step down in the rear.

We have the dome in the front and also a Satellite towards the rear. It lays really flat when stored (lower than the air units from what I recall).

We have not activated the Direct TV yet. We tried on delivery day but the Direct TV people were totally clueless. I talked to 9 different people and finally I decided I was done. A supervisor called back later but we were having dinner and told them to just forget it.

Fourteen months later, we use our TV antenna or resort cable. We have never been without a TV signal. So, our Satellite system will work well for the next owner.

    Tom,

I haven’t actually measured the height–our sat antenna is mounted above the bedroom. Now that we finally got the coach back, I will try yo get a measure on the height. Our batwing doesn’t pick up anything, and we haven’t tried to activate Direct TV–plan to install a flatscreen at the earliest. My biggest concern on heigth are the low-hanging branches all over the place.

    Per,

Remember, if you’re drawing SS you aren’t allowed on a ladder.:)

    Tom,

After struggling with putting four lift struts on the coach yesterday, I’m not sure i should be allowed to do anything on the coach anymore!;)
