One of the nicest RV resorts in Texas is Buckhorn Lake Resort in Kerrville, approximately 60 miles northwest of San Antonio.
check out their website and the schedule of upcoming events.
Our favorite part of the resort is the adults only executive area.

I second Buckhorn, but it gets pretty booked this time of year. Many RV clubs booking for their year end parties, and snow birds.
I was going to mention Blazing Star, but I heard from someone it had gone down hill some. I have not visited it in several years.

We have also stayed at Blazing Star.
We found the interior roads to be narrow and they were bordered by large rocks.
Once was enough for us.
San Antonio really doesn’t have an upscale, Big Rig friendly park.
Give Buckhorn a call….you’ll be glad you did.
P.S. Pam Tillis is performing at Buckhorn’s theatre on Dec. 21.

Guys,
Thanks for the suggestions on Buckhorn… We are here for the holidays…. caught Pam Tillis last night. Great resort… Really interested in the lease area… apparently you don’t purchase the lot but rather a long term lease and the improvements…
