Hello,
Are you asking what it has dropped from the original new price? Or how much has it depreciated from your purchase price? I assume you purchased it use? Good to hear from a fellow Oklahoman
Thanks

Hi Dan,
Or are you asking how much our buses will go down in value due to the Virus and it’s aftermath?
-
I don’t think anyone knows what is going to happen yet. We are in uncharted waters now.
-
I will say I am wondering what is happening in the entertainer coach world right now. All tours cancelled and summer stuff seems iffy at best now.
Coachella was cancelled, JazzFest cancelled….not sure how long these guys can hold out.
I have been looking at getting back to another early 2000s XL2 after selling mine in 2015, prices have really seemed to hold up, but I think the future is going to be very different.
I can tell you that in the motorcycle market, its game over. Book values are meaningless now.

G-man. How was overseas? Being a cautionary pessimist, id wait buying another coach. I believe no one will be travelling until after the first of the year if at all. Covid19 will/ has changed the way we live and travel. Our unemployment will be staggering, if any indication as to how our business (tenant base) is doing. Already have “no pays” this month. Its only going to get worse. The Small Business loan/grant program. (Canada and other European countries are issuing larger monthly checks). that is not a one time shot that was supposed to start today, is on hold according to our bank. Too many unanswered questions that need to be hammered out. The one time $1,200 dollar relief check, and its not a stimulus, is also slow. Reports show some may not receive their checks for months. So that doesnt do us alot of good taking so long for recipient to receive their check if our tenant would use the money to supplement their rent to us.
We are circling the drain, with no one having the stopper nearby. There is no one watching our backs. I have never in 65 years felt so threatened. I believe our national elections are in jeopardy. Chris tells me the constitution will protect us. Im not sure we can depend on that. So far the constitution has been harpooned.

The drop in values has already begun.
There is a 2003 Marathon Coach listed on ebay for $47,000 …
and I have a bridge in Brooklyn I can sell you …
-
Michael must be in his storm cellar, the Marathon on eBay is a scam, see the other thread, misrepresented.
-
The value of mine just keeps going up and up and up………just like the value of the corn and beans in my bins……Bwahahahaha………sometimes I just kill me!
-
When the market comes back , our bus values come back. Simple.
-
Another way I look at this is the cost of a new bus $2 million plus. This keeps the value of used ones rather stable. Aircraft are in a similar situation unless your talking about extremely old aircraft.

Jim I am well, thanks for asking.
I still own a small apartment overseas so I may end up just heading back there after all this blows over…if it does.
Will probably wait another year and see what happens.
I hope everyone here is doing well and staying sane during these times.
