My biggest fear.
A handful of PC members have had fires in their coaches, a few have lost their coaches. One of the important components of fire prevention is knowing what causes fires.
I think it would be helpful for there to be a Forum topic dedicated to coach fires. Each fire would be a topic with pictures, description of what happened, and hopefully a final determination of what caused the fire. I’m sure local fire departments, insurance companies, and even state fire marshals will opine on the cause of the fire. Know what is causing the fires will help all PC members prevent fires in their respective coaches.

I’m surprised by the number of fires we’ve seen caused by a toad. Wouldn’t they have known of the fire if their rear camera was on?

There are as many chances for fires as can be imagined. A toad is a relatively small part of fire causes, but obviously is still a consideration.
I can say for certain that a fire in the toad or engine compartment is not likely to be seen in the camera.

Has anyone seen a toad fire from someone using a dolly? I personally have not so I’m curious. I’d also guess there are a lot more cars being pulled 4 down that makes a difference. Any thoughts?
