Stayed a week at Dardanelle State Park this summer. The 50 amp sites are really nice. Wide paved roads and lake view. Just off I-40 a few miles. Close to town, restaurants etc. 80 miles east of Fort Smith.
I do not reccommend the KOA at Alma,Ark. Its an older park with very narrow roads and tree limbs hanging at about 10 feet. The Operator was very insistant I pickup my tag axle so as not to tear up his road. Some of the turns took several attempts to make to stay on paving. NOT bus friendly!

just pulled into lake dardanelle state park in Russellville. We may have gotten the one spot that will fit a 45 coach (spot 16 in campground a).
Very nice view and very peaceful
and being a state park, you can’t beat the price. -
Take a look at Lake Fort Smith state park, just a couple of miles north of I40 on I49. We have stayed there a number of times because it is close to home for a weekend trip. Arkansas really has some nice state parks and here the sites are very spacious level concrete and lakefront. It is easy in and out.

We stayed at Sallisaw/ Fort Smith KOA awhile back and had a very nice experience.
I believe they had pull thru sites and it was relatively easy off and onto the Interstate.
Good luck,
Chris
