  • RV/MH Hall of Fame, Elkhart, Indiana

Posted by Ronald on May 17, 2019 at 7:18 pm

We plan to meander more or less North from Nashville towards Toronto.

I have read about the Hall of Fame and it sounds quite interesting. So I would like to make it part of our upcoming itinerary.

Who has been there? Is it worth it?

RV parks to stay at nearby?

All comments and suggestions will be highly appreciated!

    Cheers,

    Ronald

    Hi Ron

It is interesting and we spent the night in the parking lot, dry camping.

    Ronald,

It is an interesting stop & a good way to spend a morning or afternoon. We stayed here last year, and they should be able to handle you & your stacker okay. I’d recommend making reservations, especially now that some schools are out for the summer. http://elkhartcampground.com

We enjoyed seeing you both again.

    Travel safe…

If you like old vehicles you might also want to check out Auburn Indiana. On I69 north of Fort Wayne.

There is a museum right on the interstate before you get to Auburn as well as the Auburn Cord and Truck/bus museum in the city.

I have never been to the city museums. I live too far away (30 miles at least)

Funny how we don’t check out so much that is right in our own back yard.

Yes, it is an interesting couple of hours stop. Elkhart Campground is just down the road. It’s well run and there’s plenty of space.

    Greg and Penny,

It would be great to see a pic of your MCI.

    Safe travels,
