A couple of thoughts….when I was doing research at a goat research facitilty, we utilized a “lagoon” system which in turn broke down the waste and it was used to irrigate the universities harvested fields….I do know here in Oklahoma many homes that are not connected to a municipal sewer system, they have what is also called a lagoon system where there home waste is decomposed and sent through their sprinkler systems for their lawns. I just do not have the information as to whether or not the EPA allows human waste to sprayed on cultivated crops.

story… My good friend and neighbor who recently passed away had
trouble with the county when he built a house next to me involving
the septic leach field. It’s all pasture land and we’re out in the
country. The county tells him you can’t put your leach field were you
want it because of the close proximity to the little branch that runs
through the pasture. My neighbor says, mister, my cows have been
shittin and pissin in that branch for 30 years, how the hell is my
leach field that is 500′ away buried 6′ underground going to affect that little branch?
County inspector looked him in the eye and said, it’s approved
sir…. True story..

I don’t know if this is what you are looking for, but my garage sewer connection goes directly to my septic system.

I had the house built and plumbed that way specifically for the coach. If I hadn’t done that I would probably build a dry well which would be a large diameter concrete pipe filled with large stone. At the end of every trip I would dump my holding tank into the dry well. It would slowly permeate the ground. It would certainly be dry when I came back from the next trip.

A 4′ diameter by 4′ long section of pipe would be perfect for the dry well.

I’m buiilding a shop for the race cars and pad for the Prevost. The plumber did not bat an eye when I asked for a dump station for the motorhome. Because we have a grade beam for the slab, he was not comfortable running the sewer pipe outside the permeter of the shop. So we have the sewer pipe terminating above the slab about 6″ inside the outside wall of the shop. I can put a plug in the sewer pipe (has female thread). There will be a 6″ piece of PVC (female threads on both ends for plugs) in the shop wall that I can push the discharge hose from the motorhome through over to the sewer pipe. The sewage will then run from the shop to the basement of the house and then into the septic system.

I would not recommend discharging the black water from a motorhome into a dry well. Too highly concentrated “black stuff” to put directly into the ground. Needs to go into a septic tank first.

When building the house we had a 3 inch “clean out plug” for the house septic system put a ground level at the back of the house next to the driveway. I drain the tanks while we are unloading the coach before putting it back in the garage.

When I built my garage I installed a septic tank, and drain lines and put in a clean out at ground level with concrete pad, so when I am backing into the garage I stop short dump the sewer and flush tanks, add deodrorizer and some fresh water to the tanks also I make sure all p-traps in the coach have water in them they do evaporate and can allow the smell from the tanks to enter the coach!
