Rubber protectant treatment? boots, bushings, etc
Anyone tried a rubber protectant that might extend life of exterior/chassis type rubber components?
I researched for info and found two products but have no experience with them and comments seem to be few.
Any experience with these or other products?

seems to be primarily for aircraft de-icers, tires, etc…
3M Scotch–Weld EC–776 Fuel Resistant Coating
Seems to be a highly flexible coating for multiple materials, I remember seeing it used for the Osprey tilt-rotor de-icing boots, but couldn’t find the link again
Possibly too hazardous for most owners… might be able to be shop applied

I’m trying to figure out where you would use materials that are to preserve rubber. Not on tires, Air bags?????? Maybe if you could get access to them. Brake chamber diaphragms? Not unless you plan to take them apart and then only the service brake diaphragms are accessible. Norgren valves? Nope.
Michelin is explicit about tires and only using soapy water to clean them. I never saw anything about all the other stuff.
