Royale Owners OEM TV Antenna replace
We have a old Satellite that does not get local channels and the OEM antenna does not work, So I have been working on this. This morning I connected the wet bay park cable to rear of tv so now if there is cable I should get it. Now I had bought a multi directional antenna it looks like a round black disk. But anyways I removed the OEM antenna from roof and it has 3 small wires that move it inside to get reception and a coax cable, the 2 cable wires are white and connected together 1 larger then the other but both white. Looking at wiring schematics from Royale it looks like the outside cable connection has a splitter that also connects to antenna. But there must be a splitter that has a white and black coax cables to it can’t find it anywhere and body know about this?? here are some pictures bottom picture is the place you plugged in a hand held controller that turned antenna inside there are 3 ports in bus. I don’t know where the roof cables go to from the roof, In head liner or down the side?? There must be a control box for that antenna somewhere??

What you have is junk and if you bought another omni-directional antenna, it’s junk as well. The best description I have ever heard for an omni-directional antenna is that it is equally bad at reception in all directions.
The best OTA TV antenna is the Winegard Batwing IV antenna. Most folks don’t like have to drill a hole in the roof and the inconvenience of have to crank it up and down, but it’s still the best. The 2nd best is the Winegard Rayzar Automatic dome. You willl be able to use the existing coax and the 12V wiring. That will get you excellent service to 1 TV and there will be another coax that runs from that location (or nearby) to you 2nd and or 3rd TV. That can take a bit of work and the use of some coax toner equipment.

Bill I just talked to wineguard and they say the Razor RZ-8500 won’t work with a metal roof to much interference, and the Sensor batwing works better but you have to cut a hole in roof,I don’t want to cut a hole, What options do I have?

The razor models work very well from my experience.

It works quite well on my bus. Seriously, it’s “almost” as good as a Sensar but not quite. Since I have roof airs I also installed in on the tripod mount that raises it about 8 or 10 inches (I forget exactly how high) to help clear the view. That might also improve the performance on a metal roof but I really doubt that.
