Rocker switch light replacement
How do you replace the light bulbs in the rocker switches. I seem to remember someone talking about putting led bulbs in the switches.
What is the source for the bulbs and easy way to replace them. I know nothing on a Prevost is easy.
Switches for cruise control. Some lights in coach, air compressor, and other switches on driver panels.

My dash lighting is 24v/28v and has 2 types of bulbs:a) T3-1/4″ socket mini bayonet BA9S. The incandescent replacement is 38 lumens 5 watt GE# 1864 = Grainger# 21U633, $1.32 ea. Amazon (and others) sell an LED equivalent that come in cool/bright white, warm white, red, green, blue (my airplane uses red):the other type is:b) T3-1/4″ glass wedge (W2.1×9.5d). The incandescent replacement is 38 lumens 5 watt GE# 464 = Grainger# 1C536, $1.82 ea. Thanks Don for bulb info. Now can you tell me how you actually get the bulbs removed to install new ones.

The replacement lights in your links don’t look like the light in the last picture of the PrevostMan summary for the rocker switch. Or am I missing something.

Oooops 🙂I posted “dash gauge” light bulb info in this thread, and not “dash rocker switch” light bulb info. Sorry 🙁The link roscoeaproved/Jeff provided offers a bulb part# for the Prevost dash rocker switches..
