Rock protection
Here is 2 different devices to protect Toad 1st is the Roadmaster Guardian 2nd Roadmaster Defender which one should I buy ??

Not really needed unless you are going off roading.

Went to Alaska in 2018, we had the bra that covered the grill, hood, & windshield of our toad. Big mistake, small dirt particles (dust) got under the bra and trashed the paint. Plus if I went driving in the toad, had to clean the front off before putting it back on.
Others had the Guardian which protected the toad but bounced rocks and debris off it and back into the rear of the Coach.
The defender alone seemed to work the best. Keeps rocks and debris below it and doesn’t touch the paint and scratch it like the bra we used.
Keep in mind these examples are from an Alaska trip. You will not see that much debris in the lower 48.

The Honda has had a bra on it sense new, it works ok but around it there is some rock chips, You definitely need something, good thought about the Guardian bouncing rocks back.The defender seems like a good way to go Butt are they a pain to use?

We’ve put about 55 or 60 thousand miles flat towing on two Chevy HHRs from Wisconsin to Maine to Tennessee to Florida to Brownsville TX, to Malibu CA, Vegas, Salt Lake City, and back to Wisconsin. Very few stone chips. No discernible windshield chips.
We plan on going to Alaska in the next two or three summers. Will likely take the current HHR. My plan is do with the car what my Dad and Uncle Jim did with new Kaiser-Frazer they took up the ALCAN Highway in 1948 when they got back to Wisconsin … sell it.
I wouldn’t bother with “protection”.
