Road advisory
Traveling from Salt Lake City to Newport, Oregon.
Just wondering about highway 140, Nevada states it is ok for trucks but Oregon show no.
Has anybody traveled it?

I have driven the highway a few times. Not a problem but I am used to little 2 lane roads. Personally I wouldn’t hesitate. Some beautiful stuff out there too. A great big rig campground (dry camping) with a hot spring. Called Virgin Valley Campground.

If it is not a truck route, that does not mean that RV’s are not allowed. I am not familiar with the route but don’t be deterred if the only problem is that it’s not a truck route. States and localities will keep truck traffic off certain road which are plenty capable of handling large vehicles including ours.

Thank you both, I learn to drive in Colorado on narrow 2 lane and traveled the Baja. So I guess I am OK.
