RF Mogul Sattelite Death Notice
I just received a death notice from RF Mogul, on my 3 year old system. It would not receive direcway signals any longer unless I updated to new equipment they offered to sell me at there cost. With no other option, I paid the $1200.00 + price and they sent a new control box pre programed for Directway signals and a large heavy control motor and arms. The removal and replacement took over an hour to completly install. The Directway signal came in sharp & clear after install.
I was not thrilled to make the change but I can’t totally place blame on RFM because I don’t know what part Directway played in the required change. RFM was very co-operational in the change.
My friend that bought hie RFM system about a year ago had a newer control system box with a usb input on it, mine did not, so his required minor changes and updated software to apply through the ubs port.

I think many of us will have the same problem eventually Harry, regardless of brand.
