rewire correct switch
It is time to take care of the generator start panel.
The previous owner hacked the switch portion and had probably trouble with the stop (down) portion of the switch. Instead of getting a new double pole momentary switch like (I believe) the original should be, he had a single pole momentary switch for the start and added a separate button for the stop function.
Now…I do not know yet if this has to do with why the inside Start/Stop switches for the Generator do not Start the Generator anymore ( but will stop it for some weird reason) but I should fix the outside part first. Correct ?
I have the corrrect switch and would like to wire it.
Looked through what I have for the Kohler 20kw in manuals and there is no wiring diagram. I opened the panel with the switch and I see a few black wires, unmarked. I have to sort it out.
Can somebody with a Liberty- late 90’s- and Kohler take a picture of the wiring inside of the outside control panel in the converter compartment ? Or some advice as to how to restore the wiring correctly.

Thank you.
BTW, the Watchdog start system seems to be dead but I won’t jump to that conclusion until I restore the button wiring and then attack the Battery Watchdog.
Any help, much appreciated.
