    Replacing carpets

    We have beige colored carpets in the living and bed rooms and they are showing their age. We want to replace them at some time in the not too distant future, when we will be staying somewhere for a month or so. That implies DIY and I think that I have the skills to do that. My wife is suggesting cork. I do like that idea because it looks and feels good. It would also work well with our teak wood floors. I would love to just expand the teak floor area but I am afraid it would be rather difficult to match the wood grain. Anyways, just posting to hear and read about what others have done or looked at doing.
