I replaced mine last year it had micro flush air toilet it’s junk , put new Tecma in they are great, had one before for 8 years no problems , that is the toilet Marathon puts in now , they put mine in… It may have different foot print but your can fix that easy…

Every rv toilet I had dumped directly into the black tank beneath by gravity, neither of my Prevost conversions do this.

The good thing about Tecma it can go straight down rear discharge or straight then down what ever you want!!!
-
Your CC should be a gravity dump. So, you shouldn’t have any problems other than the footprint it makes on the floor.

we were concerned about lid not clearing storage cabinet also. We will post our outcome. Traveling to Harlingen and have to do something as our manual service switch isn’t even functional

I am having toilet problems as well. Microphor LF-210 flush activator (handle) is broken, it is currently duc taped but this is only temp fix. Have a price of $270 for a replacement handle. Would it be wiser to follow the above advice and just replace this entire air toilet with a Tecma RV toilet? and if so which is the best model?

tecma silence plus is the one it’s the one marathon uses that’s what I put in and never looked back they are costly but well worth it never any trouble put power wire right from house battery and 30 amp fuse in it and you will have no trouble, I put it in my 1997 Royale then took air line for toilet and hooked it up to fill gen air bags automatically it worked great

I had to look up that toilet, Peter. They look pretty good to me and, I have to be honest, don’t seem that expensive at $1200 or less. I paid over $700 for a Kohler power flush for my house. I wonder if they could fit that in a bus? Somehow it uses the regular fill pressure of the toilet to create a jet of water at time of flushing.

Karl,
That is the exact same principle as the Headhunter toilet you now have, except it has the accumulator tank built into the toilet.
-
Karl it wll fit in a bus , I put one in my Royale I liked it because it has a macerator built right into it just brown water going into holding tanks , much easier to empty tank , I am talking about the Tecma toilet
-
Are you sure, Jon? The Headhunter needs the pump to put out 60 PSI to flush the toilet, while the Kohler uses a tank.

I replaced my Microphor L-220 electric toilet with a regular RV toilet just a few days ago… Or better to say that Jeff did it. It just wasn’t worth the risk or spending a lot of money on a 20 year old discontinued toilet that could likely break again. Talked it over with Jeff and went on the search for a regular toilet. Works like a charm! I didn’t find exactly what I wanted, since I needed to do something right then. I ended up with an Aqua Magic V, high profile, water saver, hand flush. I wanted porcelain but no one had it in stock. The one I got was $150 on sale so I can always get a porcelain one later. But at least I am on the road with a working toilet now.

I’ll bet if you look into the toilet tank you will see what looks like an accumulator tank. Water pressure from the city connection (or your well pump) fills the accumulator and when you flush the water under pressure makes the toilet work like the Headhunter.
-
Yes there is, and yes it does. I thought you were saying the source of the pressurized water was the same.
What a crappy subject to spend so much time on…
