  • Removing Asko Dryer

Posted by Jim on May 31, 2020 at 6:32 pm

In all the posts about belt and roller replacement, there is only one mention about how to remove the dryer to get to te back panel. One post mentioned removing refrigerator to get to screws.

My washer/dryer stack is between bath room and a closet. I can see a flashing with mounting screws at the top of the dryer. Looks like I can remove the “header” trim panel and use a 2 ft extension to remove the top screws.

My question is there usually just mounting at top. or sides also?

The “wall panel” in the closet looks like it is removable if I have to get to that side or Bottom of the dryer.

Jim, I have an H3-45 and the stacked washer/dryer is located between the galley and a closet. I had to get access behind the dryer to put it back in after replacing the circuit board.

The problem I had was getting the dryer vent to line up. Eventually, i looked in the closet and found a small access door with a tab on it. Pulled the access door out and discovered the vent hook up was looking right at me.

yours might provide the same access door.
