I had forgotten about the Liberty RPD Tom. Now I feel silly.

Over the years I have had several instances where I used the macerator because of need or convenience. In a couple it was because the only place to dump was not close enough to the coach so a garden hose (actually Tom’s water fill hose) was used to reach the dump and the macerator did the job. It was also nice to pull along side of a rest area dump station and align the macerator outlet with the sewer area and hit the button without ever leaving the seat.

My dump and fill switches are in the plumbing bay. These are just piggy back switches. The dump switch reads the position of the valve and will indicate if it is open or closed using a magnetic switch. The piggy back controls are going behind a panel in the coach were the rear slide controls are so there is no reason for anyone to be in there unless they are performing a spicific tast. If my GF decides so wants to push the button in the coach while I’m connecting the sewer, I probably deserved it. 🙂
I will rarely use from indise the coach but it is nice to have.
As pointed out, I have been connected and had some nasty weather role in and it is not fun going out into a cold rainy mud pit to dump and fill in the middle of the night. Better planning would prevent that BUT sometimes life doesn’t work that way.
Speaking of which, sometime I need to figure out why I can’t get this site to work correctly on my Mac using Safari or Firefox. No matter what I do, I can’t get a signature file (even text) to stick and notifications to work. I’m no fool when it comes to forums so file sizes are correct and the proper boxes are checked.

This is an ongoing problem and has been getting worse. If you use Chrome we have the fewest issues, but the Apple folks can be specific as to how they avoid issues with their browsers and devices.
