hi all, our 1996 Liberty keeps getting dampness in the rear camera housing. I have removed and resealed it but it still collects moisture any ideas?

    Thanks for your help

Typically the moisture is condensation from the humidity inside the coach.

I had that on my 87 and 97 until I cured the problem.

On both coaches the glass was a round single pane of glass. I cut a round or square second pane. (I cannot remember the real shape) and I put a bead of RTV around the glass in the cover and placed the new second pane there to act like thermopane windows do.

To drive out any moisture and to create a slight vacuum I used a hair dryer to heat both up before the RTV cured and once they were both hot I wiggled the new piece of glass to insure the seal was a good one.

When every thing cured and cooled I remounted the cover and even on cold days when we took showers I never got condensation again.
