Rear Air Fill
If you ever wondered why it takes forever to fill the brake and aux tank with the rear fill, they ran a 1/4 OD line from the valve. I took it all apart and tossed the tire like fill valve and also replaced the push in fitting with DOT compression. Now it’s a little faster using a coupler.

I did the same thing to mine except I used the Male end, instead of the female disconnect.

Tom, are you trying to mimick polished brass instead of copper like the liberty’s.
I might like that.
Say, these wheels are too brite, I spent 2 days polishing my stainless so it would look like my wheels and it won’t.

Jerry with a male nipple you must have used a check valve because with the female end you don’t.
Tom is that connection a air source for used in the rear of the bus.

You guys have a long way to go before you can get your plumbing to shine like a Liberty’s plumbing does. We even have polished slack adjusters.

Yes Greg. The rear airs up all tanks, the one in the steering bay just airs up the aux.

Elegant Lady coaches have polished copper pipes on the holding tank.
They are coated with a clear finish and don’t require much maintenance unless the finish starts to fail. If the clear finish does fail dark spots will start shoing up on the copper. Then the only solution is to strip the finish (I use lacquer thinner) and repolish the pipe.
Nobody tells us Liberty owners how hard it is to maintain our image of rich snobs with a lot of bling.

But that is why we bought a Liberty in the first place! None of us wanted to go second class, bulk rate, or magazine.
