Atwood Air Command Roof A/C units have two motors. They can be run with the interior fan set on low for very quiet operation.

Changing A/C units can cause the need for new interior thermostats which can cause a problem controlling an Aqua Hot heater.

Changing a Dometic A/C for a new one can cause the need for new interior thermostat and new circuit boards for the remaining older units.

All the best in making your choice.

I have had to buy 3 Dometic 15K Brisk IIs over the past 10 years, they don’t last long. Thankfully, they’re only $600. My bus is shorter than a Prevost, so I can use the taller ones. As Rudy mentioned, make sure the controllers mate up. The hardest part of the job is getting them on and off the roof.
