Thanks to everyone that has chimed in! I have the water heater in and the fresh tank back in. Need to hook up grey water drains back to black tank and install pump and filters, then fill up enough to check for leaks!
Wish me luck!

Dana did you pull the fresh water tank to replace the water heater?
-
Yes, I emptied out the water bay to access and clean everything. The extra space was invaluable. The little extra work to pull the tank was well worth it.

Everything’s back together and all leaks fixed. I had to replace and fix a lot of connections and pipe that were not affected by the replacement of the water heater, but finally success.

I’m also not sure if we have an accumulator tank but I will check now that I know what it looks like.
—-I do have a question regarding the hot water tank.—-
While in storage with a 50 amp connection, should I leave the hot water tank on?
I run the hot water and flush the toilets once a week just to put new water in the tank. I do turn off the water pump but turn it on remotely every few days to build pressure. It stays on 10 seconds then cuts off.
I have emptied the ice maker and have it turned off while in storage.
Thanks,
Mark -
Mark, when my bus is not being used the water pump is off, the icemaker is off, the water heater is off. and if I am not using it within a week I generally use a plunger to push the water from the toilet so it does not evaporate and leave minerals on the toilet.
I do not exercise anything.
I also leave the air compressor off (inside storage) and the only things left on are inverters and forward and aft outlets to keep the Crestron alive and the house batteries charged.
I do leave the coach chassis master switch on.
I also have stands under the support points but no pressure in the air bags so the only weight on the tires is their weight and the weight of the axle.
I do not use heat or air in the bus because the garage temps are always well within a reasonable range.
