My first post.. Thanks to Luvrbus and Bob…
I had a very small weap on my lower radiator core. I decided to do the JAKE upgrade service and valve adjust at the same time. The Prevost radiators consist of two brass tanks and the main rad core. With the help of my son I decided to rebuild the radiator myself with the help of a local radiator rebuilder.
I removed all the bolts and nuts. Once apart I took the main core to the radiator shop to have it boiled and rodded out. I have 250K miles on my 2003. I did have issues with the factory Prevost gaskets and needed a little help from the shop to steer me in the correct assy.
It is NOT a hard job to redo. I have $200 in my rebuilt radiator, and money well spent.
My recommendation is to seek out a industrial radiator shop. They will be able to help you. Finding good radiator shops are tough to find.
