  • Radiator exhaust fan

Installing new motor and I’m selecting a clockwise rotation if the fan. If I’m wrong let me know and I’ll take it out again!

    Thanks, Richard

    Richard,

Suggest you put your conversion and year in your signature so folks can help. I’m not clear on what exhaust fan you are asking about.

Richard, are you asking about the squirrelcage fan that sucks air from the generator compartment? On my Country Coach converted Prevost the electric motor and fan ran counter-clockwise and exhausted out the floor of the compartment, but I’m sure it depends on the fan and setup. If you are having cooling issues with that kind of setup, a reverse scoop, with the opening facing the rear of the coach to suck air as the bus travels down the road, is probably required. When mine got knocked off I had lots of trouble keeping it cool. Hope that helps.

Thanks Tom, I’ve updated my profile and thanks for the response. I guessed right and the exhaust fan did turn clockwise. New motor installed and working well.
