Totally rebuilt mine a few yrs ago.

For those who want to service their Racor 1000FG primary 30 micron fuel filter, you can use Racor service kit# RK 11-1404 and any of the following element#s: Racor 2020PM-OR; Baldwin PF7890-30; Fleetgaurd FS20203.

Don, you are running a 30 Micron Primary? What are you running on your secondary? My bus is calling for the 2 Micron Primary, and 10 micron secondary.

My first and second coaches had a Racor plus the spin on primary and secondary filters always supplied on the coach.

I always replaced the spin on filters with what was called for on the Prevost site maintenance manual or trade equivalent, and I always used the 30 micron Racor pleated cartridge. Fortunately my Racors which were installed by Liberty were easily accessed and serviced.

It looks like part of the AC system? Maybe a pressure switch?

Getting ready to go back into the engine bay. Leak testing in progress. How many of you folks have a vacuum gauge attached to your Racor? Is it useful?

Put one on our bus 14k miles ago. No issues. If we ever have a problem it may give us a clue, like all the other gauges.

Thanks Don, My Lid has the Hex built into the top to tighten it down, i will need to drill and tap for the Gauge. What numbers do you see with a clean and dirty Filter?
