R-134a conversion
Looks like actual R-134a is getting pricey. Anybody have recommendations for over the road air originally designed for 134a?

134a. It’s cheap compared to R22. If only the rest of the bus took r134a instead of R22. Only $250ish for 30lb r134a? Easy to get too.

R22 never went into the OTR System in the Older Coaches. Don’t know about the 99 models. . R12 was the juice and it is hard to find. Went with R134 when I had the 91 XL and it ran for 10 years until I sold the camper. Didn’t do a thing but change a few leaking hoses. They say you have to change expansion valves and who knows what else. I didn’t and coach ran fine. Also if getting the 12oz. cans , O’Reilly Auto had um (R134A) for 8 bucks and change. For what the OTR Systems takes,,, and if empty,, a 30 pounder is in your future.
