R-134a Charts
The first chart shows R134a temperature vs pressure relationship w/the ac system OFF, meaning= don’t have anything warmed up. Just hookup the low side pressure gauge hose and this is what a properly charged ac system should read. Gives you a clue weather the system is over charged, under charged, or about right.
The second chart shows the low side & high side pressure ranges under various ambient conditions w/the system operating(ON).

that chart just shows the refrigerant at saturation- liquid and vapor. you could have one once of liquid or 3 lbs and still have the same pressure/temp. This does not tell you the state of charge. all it can tell you if the system is almost empty, then only vapor present and low pressure. Measuring superheat and subcooling are better ways to indicate state of charge, short of evacuating and charging to the mfg. weight.
