Two, Questions today……Does anyone know of a good and reliable replacement air conditioning compressor to be used on Country Coach “over the road air” system?

I also remember some conversation about replacement gasket material(circular foam type material) for xl coach windows with the opening rod??

    Thanks in advance

    Jeff,

    Google TM-31 or QP-31 compressors.

Hey Jeff, Tom is spot on.

They seem to be used alot in buses and vans. Did not have any trouble finding one.

You can get them with clutches or without and different pulley configutations.

I have bought them from 600 to 1100 dollars.

They take about 6 to 61/2 pounds of 134A.

    Jeff,

I just went through the replacement challenge for my OTR a/c compressor and drier for my 1997 Country Coach.

Found a brand new OEM a/c compressor [Tama TM-31 with 488-46520 A/C Compressor] from DiscountACParts.com, for $549 with free shipping.

The drier was another (very long) story. Ultimately, we found that Freightliner had an equivalent part: ABP N83 319314, and was only ~$40.
