I read some blogs from people who took RVs to Burning Man and said the blowing dust killed their RVs and would never do it again.
What is your experience with Quartzite with Prevost buses?

Define “killed their bus”

We go every year, My bus is not “killed” yet. I think they were overly dramatic.

Dust in every nook and cranny, engine and AC filters, etc.
Was just curious what your experiences were.

We have gone 4 times in Jan and we had some rain a couple of times but no wind storms, first 2 times we had the Foretravel with a front Generator so a little cleaner, second 2 times we had the bus, The only difference was the Generator blows from underneath so I brought a plastic tarp that I slid under bus, started where generator blows for cooling to rear axles 10 x 20 tarp no big deal, a couple of rocks to hold down tarp, I’m pretty picky also. The Desert is beautiful in the winter time and usually warm. This year in Indio at the Elk’s it was not so warm you can see pic of rear of bus with palm trees and snow on hills behind.
