Push button entry door combination change
I have a 1999 Prevost C.C and need to change the door combination. Jeff is going to change the key door and combination in a few months and says I need a new Modem. Is the Modem the same as the key pad or are they different parts? Is there a way to change the combination by entering a special code? I believe what Jeff says ,however I met a couple people with Prevost , and they claim you just enter a code.Before posting this I’ve tried to get a hold of Jeff to confirm what they are telling me but to no avail on Saturday.He may be out of town. Anyone with experience with this or advice I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Steve

Steve, the combination is not able to be changed, however you can add a second code for a personal code…..however it does not stop the original code from functioning….

Why would you want to change the original factory code?
Just add your personal code as Jeff said.

It is possible someone during the history of the coach lost the personal code. Then they started using the master code, which over time may have been learned by others.
Easy cheap solution is to trade door lock modules with someone who has the same problem. Just don’t post who you will trade with here so the bad guys just follow the code to the next bus.
