Progressive Surge Protector wiring ??
I installed My Progressive EMS-HW50C surge protector in 2018 , I have the remote mounted inside bus so I can watch volts and amps.I installed between shore and Transfer box, I’m thinking about wiring it between Transfer and House that would protect generator and the house from over or under volts and surge. It would be a little bit of a pain but doable, Is it worth it?? Who has wired it this way??

Possibly I am too trusting of my generator – that feeds directly into transfer switch.
The cord reel was also feeding directly to the transfer switch so I removed those feed wires and put them into a Watchdog Surge Protector (Similar to Progressive) then the output from the Surge Protector goes into the transfer switch. This way I I am hardwired and no risk of theft or me forgeting to use it or leave behind.
Watchdog has an app for phones / tablets with bluetooth connectivity so you can monitor volts and amps. If overvoltage such as water heater, AC, cooktop, dryer the Surge cuts power usually before breaker trips so you don’t have to go outside.

Yes I know Hughes company I have a Autoformer voltage booster, When I bought my Progressive Hughes did not have the Bull Dog, I’ve recommended the Bull Dog to friends, And my HD hard wired Progressive is between shore cord and transfer box and moving will then protect bus from gen also.
