Try using the the tenth digit (from the left) and the last last 4 digits of your VIN. Leave out the “year”. The “year” year for the Prevost shell may be different from the model year as delivered from the converter, in your case, Royal Monaco.

try mine W-6553 W=year basic coach made by prevost 6553 = unit number. Notice – between year and unit number. That is what I use.

Bob’s number will not work for a motor home conversion chassis, especially on pneumatic or electrical diagrams. Big differences.

didn’t know that.. was delivered as a shell to converter. XLE is a entertainer shell. At least it will get him some idea how to get started. I do know when you go tech specific I was told to use mth as description . Your diagrams in articles are spot on. As well as wire code from prevost wiring diagrams. Good luck in navigating prevostcar.com web site.. one you get it dialed in it is great! the last letter in the 90’s was year of shell mfg. last 4 is unit number. Note: must use prevo # not converter number. Then it will tell you how basic shell was ordered & built at prevost. My experience on this…others may disagree. After prevost many converters changed systems to make them better/different.

Until Prevost came out with the X-3 they had seated, entertainer and motor home conversion chassis. Now they are down to 2 chassis.

Forget the unit number. Make sure you select a 45 foot X MTH and put in your chassis year. The chassis year may differ from the year on the title so use the chassis year from the VIN.

In anticipation of that question, look up owner’s manuals and look for the VIN description page and how to interpret the VIN, including chassis year.

D060874=wiring diagram. no problem finding. 1976-2000 with revisions for specific unit(yours) just play with it –when It finally clicks you will be happy. puematic =D140210

Use the last six or seven units of your VIN. Be sure to put it in the VIN box and not the unit box. It worked for me last week just fine.
