I can assure you if C’bus said it’s 720, it’s 720. They are the go to guys for Marathon coach model history.

I remain in awe of Jim’s ability to track coaches by build number. Even more amazing to me is how he can tell one from another because the designs and colors, unless something is really unique, all seem to blend together after a while.

I agree Jon, Jim’s knowledge of the Beaver conversion is equally impressive. You give him the number and he knows the bus, amazing! He also knows the mechanics and electrical of them so he’s more than a one trick pony! wink

Not just coach/converter numbers, Jim has a fetish for coach VIN numbers. Just ask him. He can rattle off every single vin of every single coach, car, truck, trailer they have ever owned! Just sayin.

He can rattle off every single vin of every single coach, car, truck, trailer they have ever owned!” I think that’s a little creepy. Just sayin too.

The first time I meet Jim in person was at a PC rally in Branson. He not only knew my coach number, he told us the history of all the other 40′ CC conversions built in 2002. In fact he and Chris were in my coach the day it came off the line in Eugene. He informed us who owned it prior to me and how to contact the prior owner. Yes he knew the phone number. He is the go to numbers and history guy.
