  • Prevost Community Rally

Posted by Archived on December 16, 2011 at 12:00 am

This is very premature considering we are still attempting to finish putting the site together, but I would like to see some discussion about putting together a Prevost Community rally with at least 200 coaches in attendance.

Where would we hold one of that size? When would be the best time of the year to hold it? Would individual special interest Prevost groups attend the rally as a supplement to their normal rallies?

    Ideas? Comments? Suggestions?

    A gathering of coaches.

Why are these coaches all in one spot??????

Because it ain’t a rally if there ain’t a lot of food.

We just found a travel agent that can get spots at Fort Wilderness, a relative rarity. We will be there February 17-20. Let me know if interested and I’ll hook you up with the lady. She may help POG 2013 if needed.

Karl, if you don’t mind please see if a place like Fort Wilderness can accomodate a 200 plus coach rally. We need everything from catering to meeting rooms and it is likely converters or Prevost may be wanting a spot to service coaches nearby.

    Thanks

Hoping like previous owners groups : $ won’t leave us poor prevost guys out. $1000 weekends are average for some –deal breakers for others. I and many of my friends I have refered to this community are hopeful this group will not go the way of POG. Just attended a rally of 40 coaches with 3 meals (sit down ) and entertainment. seminars etc 3 days. $200. My name is Bob Glines Home Builder 98 Xle 3 slides Retired Heavy equipment operator/former RV Dealer. SW Indiana.

    Bob,

You can be assured this site will not
turn into one of those were the most important thing is comparing
balance sheets. I think Jon was pulling Karl’s chain about Disney. If
we end up at some point with a 200 bus rally, we’ll probably be in a
    fair ground or something similar.

Invite me to your next 2000 rally and
    I’ll be there!

If Jon was yanking my chain, so be it. I already dropped an email to the lady. We’ll see what she says.

FWIW, I’ll go to a field if the people are good. I don’t see a problem in accomodating everyone’s preferences and checkbook.

For those already is SW Florida. It is not far. There will be old home done buses there and factory conversions. Might be intresting what some have done and some ideas you might see in factory conversions in the future. There are seminars on everything from computer use on road to basic how your brakes work. Day trip or a few hrs maybe even the weekend. Very reasonable. Live feed thru bus nut online forum in it’s 2nd year of live feed so don’t expect NBC but it is free. Bob
