Prevost Coach hits pickup at night.
I pulled this video and pictures from another forum. It had been posted by Prevost owner Gil Johnson. The truck reportedly fell off a car hauler and the Prevost was going 60mph when they collided. Collision occurs right after about 1:25 into the video.
It goes to show how quickly things can happen at night.

One of those plastic coaches would have been totalled. No telling if it would have lost control as well due to chassis into wheel well. Love me Prevost!

As I noted on the other site, our Prevost crash avoidance system would have allowed us to avoid a situation like this. If I didn’t try to slow down, the system would have aggressively engaged the retarder to slow us down. The warnings would have gone off way before impact.

or how inadequate the headlights?
