    Pre-Trip Inspection

    Another Shout-Out for Jon & Tom!

    Thanks for the constant reminders to conduct Pre-Trip Inspection “everytime” you travel! Their seminars highlight this fact, along with hands-on training.

    The attached photo is of one of the three belts that, if broken, can leave you stranded on the highway.

    I discovered this morning during my Pre-Trip Inspection, when leaving Grand Teton NP, that I had three teeth damaged on one of the belts, which were all in tact when I conducted my last Pre-Trip Inspection nine days earlier when we left Glacier NP.

    Due to Jon & Tom’s constant emphasis on being prepared, it was great that I had the right “matching set” of the three belts which took two minutes to switch out. Certainly provided peace of mind as I descended the 7% grades out of Yellowstone heading East!
