thanks Gary,
When I went to the web site, this seems to be direct replacement for Marathon genset. I do nto know if would work for Vantare gen set, or if there is a difference.

Thread drift but Michael these Prevost Coaches and with any brand aren’t cheap to operate. 4 to 6 batteries in house bank 2 to 3 thousand. Tires 8 @ 500 per. Level 3 service every 10,000 miles several hundred and every other problem you will have while running down the road. Not trying to discourage you as we love our old coach and will run it till we upgrade to another. You don’t have several hits at a time and don’t have to replace tires, batteries or other goodies often or none of us would be running these puppies. Well, except for rich folks like Jon.
On the gen set heat issue might have to get in and clean radiator if it’s in a box as mine was plugged with dirt. Added another fan have 2 fans blowing in the radiator area. The way mine is designed, if it gets above 95 degrees still have to watch it. My coach was built in Wyoming back in 92 and don’t think they planned on Texas heat (!00 degrees plus in the summer) the way they should have.
