Art, its 1″, or #16, or 25mm, or whatever you want to call it, they’re all the same. It carries atf in it and I doubt its under pressure. Its looks like the feed line for the pump. 4 ft looks like it will do but you may want to buy 5 ft just to be sure. Use your AITA card and get a discount at NAPA or TruckPro, or PrevostParts.

Mine has double clamps at each end and is dry as a bone. I run Valvoline Maxlife multiple vehicle synthetic ATF in my ps system.

Here is a picture of hose a Gates 16RLA 1 inch 160 psi WP

Went to buy a new return hose from power steering reservoir to the power steering pump and it was a gates 16RLA hose, I looked on line and called a few places most everyone you had to buy a 25 ft roll Napa had ft prices but still had to buy 25 feet. Napa told me to call PasoRobles bearing and Hydraulics and they didn’t use gates they had a black hose with red stripe with wire in it for hydraulics. And he said to use tee clamps it had double clamps on it. I went home installed it and filled it up and it was already leaking from the reservoir on top, so I drained it again and took pictures of fittings and both 1 inch OD, went back to shop and showed him pictures and he said top fitting was not for this kind of hose it had very small ridges, lower fitting at pump looked correct. I replaced upped fitting at reservoir with a barbed 1 inch fitting put it back together filled it up looks good no leaks. I think all along it wasn’t the hose it was the upper fitting. here is a picture of old fitting.
