Tom, I do not know of any but will keep an eye out .

Ernie, what engine do yu have on your genny ? It can be rebuilt as you know and be like new for a little under 10k . A used one if you can find one would be around 7k after changing out some parts . I guess the used one would be a crap shoot like mine was . Call if you want to bounce some ideas around .

Jon, Crazy how we feel if I do not use the genny it will last longer . When I purchased this coach I thought with all the dry camping we do getting a low hour genny was a plus . I still think it would have been if I would have changed out some parts prior to using her . I also think having the OTR and going pole to pole make it hard to justify using the genny . Jeff also told me of truck applications going 90k hours of course they are not in a enclosed box .

I am a power pole to power pole guy, but I will not hesitate to use the generator.

Pulling into a rest area for a sandwich in hot weather has me using the generator to run a couple of A/Cs. If our destination is more than one driving day away we typically overnight in a rest are and the generator is on from when we pull in for the night until we go to bed. If it is hot or cold out we run the generator all night.

We do have at least one week every year that we dry camp, and the generator was going to run most of those hours.

We rarely need to run all 4 Cruisairs, but when dry camping with the generator running I make it a point to run all 4 and allow the thermostats to keep the bus interior cool or warm. Loading the generator is beneficial.
