Portable Bunk Beds
I’ve seen a lot of discussion about the desirability of bunk beds in a coach. I had even looked into some couches that convert into bunk beds that I found online, but they mostly seemed like just concepts that weren’t available for sale in the US. Today I saw these portable bunk beds for sale at Costco and thought they might be a good solution for someone who only needed the extra sleeping berths once in a while.

They look to be very well built, and could probably store underneath your typical sofa. Of course, you have to have the floor space to use them, but in my case it’s just a matter of not bringing the two club chairs on that trip.

In a no slides coach the only area where you could set this up is in the forward living area. It would kill you floor space aka walking area. So everybody would have to go to bed at the same time and going to the head at night would become an adventure.
You would be better off, buying a tent and put the beds in there. Or, better yet, give family visitors the name of a nearby hotel.
