We just pulled in yesterday, and there are quite a few Prevosts here . . . anyone from Prevost Community here? We finally beat the heat and are looking forward to a few weeks of relaxing before making our way down to the FMCA rally.

We didn’t! I’ll have to ask. They did give us the weekly rate, though, and when I asked if they’d also give a military discount, they said they’d only give one and already discounted us for the weekly rate. I didn’t realize that PC got us discounts! I need to pay more attention now that we’re unemployed and homeless. 😀

Please tell me what you think and share pictures. Visiting Glacier and staying at Polson was on our bus bucket list. Just wish it were closer to Glacier.

The park is quite nice. I would advise that you get one of their upgraded sites, though, not a “standard.” Standard = parked on gravel next to grass = water spots all over your bus from when they water every night. We were in a standard last night and after viewing the bus this morning, we determined a build out on cement away from the grass is a must. We just moved, are having the bus washed by a guy who comes on their lot ($2/per foot – not bad), and the view is beautiful of Flathead Lake. The park adjoins a KOA and shares a pool and laundry room with them. The pool is not a place I’d hang out as it’s tiny and filled with kids (retired teacher!), but after relaxing a few days we figured we’d be off at Glacier and other sites most of the time. They have a very nice workout room with state of the art equipment. Between that and John hauling me around the park (it’s got some steep hills!), I’m getting plenty of exercise. 🙂 There are social activities throughout the week, and everyone is very friendly here.

Really cool. I had heard you have to be up high in one of the premium lots. Let us know if you see anything bus-friendly closer to Glacier when you head that way. Thanks

WE just left Polson this moring. we have spent 2 weeks there over the padst month. One of the best RV places i nthe country. As far as Glacier is ocncerned. We stayed at the West Glacier KOA when we were at Glacier. We were at one of their upgraded pull through sites. large patio, table with umbrella, and barbacue grill (propane). It was very nece, and very convienent to the park. The road to the sun just opened. the hiking trails at Logan’s pass are still ice and snow covered.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I knew there was a site closer – just wasn’t sure how good. Been to Glacier once on a drive-by in the car and we almost had to sleep in the car. Amazing 10 years ago at the complete and utter lack of any built-up tourist area outside the park as opposed to say Jackson outside Yellowstone. Fortunately a rafting place had a little A-frame for the night.

We were there a couple of weeks ago.
Great place and an easy drive to glacier national park.
