For the last 18 years we have used our coaches 1-3 months/yr and about 7,000 mi/yr. Looking to bump that up to 3-6 months/yr and about 10-12,000 mi. beginning July 1st. The $$$ we have saved on PC dues should go a long way but not nearly as far as the knowledge gained.

Our use of the coach has varied significantly over the last 25 years.
When we first got a coach we were worn out from running businesses and it was an escape. We averaged about 13 weeks a year in trips that varied from a month to shorter week long trips. But as we used the coach we saw products our factory could build so after developing a product line of equipment for RV parks such as power outlets, tables, grilles and fire rings we started using the coach to go to trade shows.
During that period as we attempted to build the RV products part of the business we were putting 30,000 miles on the coach per year. We soon began combining those travels with visits to our main customer’s sales offices and warehouses. On those visits I was putting on seminars to teach our customer’s salesforce about the products we were building for the customer. We continued to run close to 30,000 miles a year and we peaked at about 16 weeks out per year.
When I sold the business and moved to our new house in TN our use of the bus dropped off to about 8000 miles per year as we were working to complete the house and landscaping.
In the last 10 years or so we are now averaging about 13,000 miles a year and probably spend 6 weeks a year in the coach, all of it at rallies or visiting friends. When I am not using the bus, I am often in the garage playing with something on the bus. Right now I have the entertainment bay opened up so I can install my new set of batteries.

Put us in the 3 to 6 month group. We’re planning on traveling the month of August into September thoughout the west. After harvest we plan on a trip down to Phoenix to visit my folks and friends for a few days, then the plan is to base out of Dubois, Wy and snowmobile January and February.
The trip to East Tennessee in July is first priority though, have to dip into the collective wisdom of the POG!

Get ours out about every 2 to 3 weeks for a 4 to 5 hundred mile trip and 2 to 3 days at a time. Going to be selling the 100 acre place here in the near future, the cows with it, and will be able to do what we would really enjoy, GO!

Dan, You won’t find the collective wisdom of POG here. We do have POG members here, but the wisdom here is the collective wisdom of over 1900 Prevost Community members.

Good time to sell the cows!!! I don’t believe we will ever see price’s like this again but then again I’ve been wrong before!!

We travel in ours several times a month, nearly every month of the year (to and from concerts). This last year we have stayed in -10 degrees in WI in January to 110 degrees in Texas in August. Although we have traveled alot, we have stayed at only two campgrounds!

We travel from NS to Florida every Oct 2200 miles, travel approx 800 miles while there, travel back to NS Canada in April stopping several places on way home approx 2600 miles. During the Summer we travel approx 2400 miles
