  • POLISHING STAINLESS STEEL

Posted by Archived on October 28, 2016 at 7:41 pm

It is that time of year that I need to polish. This has probly been discussed befor, but I would like some recommendation on the best cleaner and polish to use for the stainless steel. I have used Zephyr pro 40 and it has worked fairly well, but was wondering if there something better.

I will be traveling to eastern part of Canada next July and was wondering if Prevost has tours of the factory, if so who is the contact person or department to make reservation to do so.

Thank you inadvance for your input,

Here is my post from last year. Your contact is Allen Nadeau. His email is probably allen.nadeau@volvo.com.

For future reference, spoke with nicolas.gagnonatvolvodotcom who is in charge of the service center in St. Nicolas. Said they:

    1) have visitors stay with hook ups at their sevice center where they have plenty of parking/ maneuvering space even with trailers and provide the gate lock code for anytime access.

    2) it is located 10 minutes from Quebec City.

    3) they do not have regular scheduled factory tours (Allen Nadeau in charge of this), just on demand.

    4) the factory is located 35 miles from the service center.

    5) they are currently turning out three coaches per day, and this is said to be a busy time.

In case anyone else is going, we are there June 15-19. Then down to Jay Peak, Vermont for a Porsche thing.

Larry, Allen thanked me several times for making my appointment six months in advance. Barb and I were the whole group on our tour. So you can arrange your tour for next summer probably now. He will put you in his phone and he will not forget. He speaks English relatively well as his previous job was attending rv shows in the U.S. He is a 30 year employee.

Parking at the service center in St. Nicolas is free and includes only shore power. It is conveniently located along “interstate” 20.
