just can’t believe libery coach is so busy they can’t do a estimate and get parts on the way said he was to busy to do anything about my awning for about a month I should have bought something better that don’t fixing!! there shop is full must be!!

If you are talking about their Florida facility, it’s not just Liberty that is backed up on work. Pretty much every place down in Florida is backed up right now.
Most snowbirds held out on getting things worked on till the end of the season and everyone is booked out till the end of the month, into next month.
We were trying to get a towbar setup installed (towbar baseplate and airbrake hookup) and no one could get us in till end of May/Early April. Ended up installing the baseplate, wiring myself and brought the coach to Jeff up in Knoxville area to do the airbrake setup on the coach side of things.
I tried not just RV places, but also hitch places. Everyone is booked with end of the season work being done by late leavers.

Don’t take it personal because Liberty as well as everyone else is jammed up. I know someone that bought a coach and he cannot get it delivered to him because the shop is jammed up. When they are so busy they cannot deliver coaches (which does a lot for cash flow as you can imagine) it means they are really slammed.
As Charles points out everyone is busy, but if you have the original style Zip Dee manual awnings and even a small degree of mechanical skills there is no reason why you could not do the repair yourself. A number of us have worked on them and they are quite simple if you follow some reasonable steps and precautions.

Have you contacted Zip Dee directly?
We were looking at a coach during our search that did not have the large, street side awning. I called Zip Dee and the woman I talked to was very, very help and talked me through the information I’d need to provide to order the proper awning. I’m sure getting the parts from Zip Dee that you need to get your coach fixed should not be any more difficult. I see that Zip Dee has quite a few dealers in Pennsylvania, that is another option for you.
We also have a Liberty Coach. We’re only 78 miles from Liberty’s coach conversion facility in North Chicago. Even with Lilberty that close, if I had a problem with my Zip Dee awnings I would not call them … I’d call Zip Dee directly.

Our service center in CA has been jammed for the same reasons…snowbirds leaving….last minute issues…staff working 14 hour days, 24/7!
Didn’t realize the number of coaches coming down from Canada and all points North to escape the cold. We passed 12 Prevosts heading up
the 15 Freeway as we were heading South!
