I know that Triple Fox is registered and he even talked a person with a SOB coach into attending. Even though the SOB owner will not be parked with the Prevost, he is a member of PC and is looking. Therefore, Tom, Please don’t be yourself and run himoff 🙂

I think I am in agreement with Rudy. I don’t feel PC has the right to dictate who gets parked where, but I would ask Bill, Tim and Ken to set a policy.

PC cross posts on other sites from time to time and we have members that own other than a Prevost. Those members are active participants on PC and I believe most of them are on the hunt for a Prevost. We have shared our NAPA and fuel discount programs with members of the Wanderlodge, Newell and Foretravel folks and we share the Michelin program thanks to the Wanderlodge folks. I think it would be nice to have PC members parked together.

Hey Admin, On the “fun-n-sun” web site, fun-n-sun.org, they advertise this event thru 2/29. Can you confirm?

The actual day of arrival can be Tuesday 2/23. The hospitality suite will be open and as folks arrive it will be meet and greet. The auction is Friday and Saturday with the days preceding it having scheduled activities such as a mini-seminar, breakfasts, dinners, and beverages in the suite through the day. Those days are for cruising the displays, looking at the auction consignments and socializing. We can remain through Sunday and depart on Monday 2/29 as some folks did at the fall event.

Even though this event has a lot to do and a lot going on it is really a laid back affair in which we are not slaves to a tight agenda (except meals). It is a laid back and relaxing rally. All Ken and Bill and Tim expect is for us to buy vintage cars or a Prevost coach or two. But if we don’t we have a chance coming up in November.

As far as parking, all I know is that Doug said that Bill would not let him park next to me but would try to get him close, yet Doug paid the full price as far as I know. As a previous owner of a park, I do know that some owners of high end plastic coaches don’t want to be parked next to a unit that is not to their standard. I have not observed that attitude with all those “snooty” PC members 🙂 Shoot! Tom will even allow a Liberty to park next to his Marathon.

The SOB owner will be parked with us if he went through the PC registration. The more SOB’s the better, that’s how folks become Prevost owners. We were thrilled to have I believe 3 SOB’s at the Seminar in November and hope to see more.

The actual AutoFest event is February 25th – 28th.

If you are joining us for the AnCC you can stay with us Tuesday February 23rd upto and including the night of the 28th.

Remeber also that you can stay in the campground, here on the facility before or after the event for as long as you like. It is only $35 plus tax per night for full hookups. That can be handled directly through SnF by contacting Tracy Neal at TNeal@sun-n-fun.org .

I hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for the Holidays, if your not already knee deep in them now! There have been a few questions about the pricing of our event. The price is still the same as November, $699 if you will be bringing a coach and $499 for those who are not traveling in a coach or flying in. The list of included items are the same minus the comforts of having your coach. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.

Tim is so shy he doesn’t want to brag about all we get for the fee.

Here is just a little peek at what you get for the event fee.

You can have up to six nights of camping with full 50 amp power and access to water and sewer.

You are getting bidder’s credentials worth $100 for two. Those credentials give you unlimited access to the auction and everything associated with the auction and the hospitality suite.

You will be getting breakfast and dinner daily.

The suite will have refreshments throughout the day. It is private so it is a great place to relax and socialize.

In the evenings there is always something going on at the suite, and at the November event we were treated to beer tasting, cigar rolling, entertainment on at least two nights (really great entertainment by the way) and prior to the dinners we were treated to wine, beer, and some killer hors devours which is the southern spelling of treats.

I am leaving stuff out because all the details are not yet in place but you can see from the above Tim and Bill have gone out of their way to give us a lot of bang for the buck.

Don’t hesitate. Mark your calendars, register and plan on attending. Some of us left the last rally with some neat stuff and one of our members went home with a Rolls Royce he bought at the car corral. Tim will do a demonstration on how to raise your hand at the auction (that can get expensive) and Tim and Bill and the auction folks will explain how things work and make you feel really good about spending the kid’s college fund on that car you know you really have been wanting.

I just wanted to check in. Last Friday we had our Team
Christmas party back here in Carlisle and it was a great time. I decided to stay a few extra days and now I
am nailing down some of the logistics for the February event. The weather here
has been crazy warm. We even set a few records over the last few days. I got in
some hiking and biking in shorts!!!!

To back up a week and a half Tim and I got invited to attend
a beer fest in Punta Gorda, FL. Jason from Fat Point Brewery that everyone met
at the November event extended the invite. What a fantastic experience. As you
can see in the picture we had a front row seat. We were treated like kings from
the moment that we arrived. The brewery is fantastic and they even have a great
kitchen with some very unique offerings. If anyone is traveling through the
area it is definitely worth the stop. For those of you that didn’t have the
opportunity to try the product in November they will be back for the February
event.

We even discussed maybe having a mini tour down to the
brewery after our event. If anyone will be heading south from Lakeland or would
possibly like to spend a day or night in Punta Gorda let us know and Tim and I
will set it up.

The event is really shaping up. From the response that we
are getting I believe that we will have a lot of for sale coaches. Everyone
that we have reached out to are making verbal commitments to bring several
coaches. The exciting part is we have been receiving calls from others that are
excited about attending as well. We will give you more details as we get things
confirmed.

Ok back to work so I can head to sunny FL on Thursday.
