PC Maintenance Seminar #5 – October 12 -14, 2018

The seminar still has some spaces available. This one is going to be brand new and will have important topics that are important for all owners to know and understand, but will have topics attendees want to cover.
If you are a new owner, if you are contemplating a coach purchase or if you are a seasoned veteran this seminar is going to add significantly toward your knowledge of your coach and boost your confidence in it and its systems.
Sign up now because once all the spaces are filled we cannot add more attendees.

Yesterday I “signed up” for the seminar. I clicked on the link and that was it. I didn’t get a request for money or anything like that.
Am I signed up? or do I have to do more? Please advise.

I suppose that if I had registered a week earlier, he would have ordered chrome wheels for his new coach.
Maybe there will be a tip jar at the seminar for chrome wheels for Tom’s new coach.

We are in the home stretch with seminar preparations and if you haven’t registered yet or paid now is the time.
The seminar is going to be the best ever and we have some fantastic presenters to help us all with their expretise.
On Saturday we will have Fred Pickering of AAP, the go-to guy for Cruiseair questions and assistance. Following Fred the folks from Inverter Services are going to have their “A” team to unravel the mysteries of inverters and how to get the best use of them.
Later on Saturday we are going to have a great presentation by the representative from Relion Batteries. Relion is offering drop in replacement for our current batteries and we can expect to learn about the advantages of using Li batteries in our coaches.
On Sunday morning we are going to start off with Will Saluzzo from Prevost Car and he is going to teach us how to navigate the Prevost Car web site to answer any questions we might have regarding our coaches, how to operate them, maintain them and pull up every piece of information we could ever want specific to our particular VIN.
Later on Sunday we are going to address tires and for certain discuss the issues with 365 tires. The presenters will be Steve Smith from TDI who was with us last year and he will be joined by Chris Burris from Michelin.
Included in the seminar will be topics such as pre-trip inspections, driving the coach and understanding what is “normal” for your coach in terms of temps, pressures, etc.
We are going to provide basic overviews of the electrical systems, both house and chassis and power management for those systems.
Maintenance requirements for the coach will be discussed and how to track the complex maintenance schedules will be covered.
Common problems are going to be identified and how to cope with or make repairs to those problems is going to be a valuable topic. Time permitting we will work in discussions about spares, tools, and of course we will always answer any and all questions throughout the seminar, at meals or when we are relaxing in the evenings. This seminar is for you and when you come away you are going to be a lot more confident in your coach and your understanding of it.
The entire seminar will be available as a take away on a thumb drive and all the links and resources will be available on the thumb drive.

Tom said for $10 he will let all attendees look at the outside of his new coach. We will waive that fee if you sign up by tomorrow.

For another $10 Tom will deploy his much loved slide.

Late word is a representative from Lifeline is going to be at the seminar also. It is going to add significantly to your knowledge and understanding of batteries and you definitely are going to come away with information you need to determine if you will get Li or AGM batteries for your next set.
I am certain the cost of the seminar will be insignificant compared to the knowledge gained and how much it might save you in future expenses relating to your coach.

There are 6 that have not paid, you’re going to lose your slot boys. I’m sending one more reminder, than after 9/15/18 you’re out of luck.

Tom wont put the slide in, he disabled the switch the other day for fear of someone pushing it and activating the slide.
Heck, Sunday he went to the dump station with it out !!!!!! I guess he is going to drive all the way home with it out. Can you stay in the right lane all the way to FL.
He had Jeff put some LED flashing lights on the corners the other day, what the H@$&@ are those for.

The crap just never ends. All of this coming from a guy who ate so much lunch on Monday, he fell asleep in my truck on the way home and drooled on my seat. It wasn’t a pretty site. Later the same night about 10:00 I went back to make sure I didn’t leave a bay door open and there he is in his underwear with a water hose between his legs and looked just like cousin Eddy in Christmas Vacation.

You guys ease up on Buddy! He is a nice guy. He drove me around when I was recently at Jeff’s, took me to pickup some groceries an helped put them away in the bus.
Come to think of it, I still haven’t found the Beer.

We canceled our reservation for the maintenance seminar yesterday morning because we were not confident that we could get our coach up and running in time to attend. We worked a really long day yesterday and today and successfully installed the parts that that took longer to get here than expected.
So…Is there a wait list for the remaining slots for the maintenance seminar?

I believe you are confirmed, Tim. At least I think that is what Tom said.
This is going to be a great seminar, not only because we have some very highly qualified presenters about such important topics as inverters, batteries, tires, the Prevost web site and air conditioners, but because all who are attending will drive the seminar discussions. It is not a “canned” seminar, but it will follow an agenda that is tailored to the specific type and conversion of coaches and their owner’s questions and concerns.
It is pretty intense because a lot of information is presented, but everyone is going to leave at the end of the weekend knowing their coach better than they ever have.
